Job Title: Research Officer


Job Location: Accra, Greater Accra


Job Description

  • Communicate with clients to understand and document the business objectives
  • Select the most appropriate research methodology and techniques
  • Design qualitative and quantitative research plans for products of all the businesses
  • Design research questionnaires and moderator guides
  • Interpret data, writing reports, and making actionable recommendation
  • Monitor market trends and assist department’s advertising and marketing activities to ensure the right message is delivered for all the products and services of the affiliate businesses
  • Analyses and interpret data to identify patterns and solutions, including surveys and focus group transcripts
  • Maintain contact with clients to get critical input on how product designs and implementation can be improved
  • Review collected data, author reports and makes business-oriented recommendations to all business affiliates on how to best use research findings
  • Monitor market trends and suggesting advertising and marketing activities to ensure the right message is delivered for their product or service
  • Develop custom brand management plans for each product and submit updated summaries on brand exposure to management each month
  • Perform regular market research studies to gather important brand data


Qualification and Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Economics or related field
  • At least 5+ years’ experience in Brand and product management
  • Exceptional verbal and report presentation abilities
  • Extensive experience in Data collection and analysis
  • Strong accuracy, analytical mind and attention to detail
  • Confidence when dealing with a wide variety of people
  • The ability to take responsibility and handle pressure
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to give clear instructions
  • Accurate and clear written skills when producing questionnaires and reports
  • Methodical and well organised
  • Strong knowledge of statistics and computers
  • An ability to handle data to work in quantitative research
