Job Title: Relationship Officer

 

Job Location: Accra Newtown, Greater Accra

 

Job Description

  • Assist the RM manage client in their portfolio
  • Client Portfolio management focuses on working to ensure client satisfaction and client retention and growing assets under management
  • ROs are expected to build relationships vertically and horizontally 
  • Call, email and other forms of communication (Calls, visits and emails should correspond with structures agreed upon by the department)
  • Occasionally visit Blue and Amber clients at the RM’s request
  • Manage client databases

ROs are expected to maintain a client database or tracker(s) that contains:

  • Client information
  • Cross selling and/or Referral
  • Frequency of contacts
  • Watch list
  • Statement Tracker
  • New client payments or inflows
  • Concerns from client or to do lists and general comments from clients
  • Relationship Officer must supervise the J.RO to ensure that their lists are updated daily without fail
  • Ensure that concerns, complaints, requests and enquiries raised by clients are resolved within the stipulated SLA time frame
  • Assist RM to provide staff education within their client portfolios and provide other relevant information to their clients

Perform any other duties assigned to them by their Relationship Manager.These include:

  • Scheduling performance reviews and staff trainings for clients in their portfolio
  • Preparing performance review presentations and staff trainings presentations
  • Assisting the Relationship Manager with performance reviews and staff trainings
  • Any other duties assigned to them
  • Update the RM on all issues affecting their portfolio whether resolved or otherwise
  • Welcome new clients in the portfolio
  • Reach out to new contacts in the portfolio
  • Achieve cross sell and referral targets
  • Ensure overall client satisfaction
  • Handle and resolve all escalation issues from other departments and update the RM accordingly
  • Ensure that all documents for the clients are filed correctly
  • Manage all clients in the portfolio when the RM is out of office

 

Qualification and Requirements

  • A minimum of an HND is required
  • At least 1-3 years work experience
